I went to Inuyama Castle, a national treasure. #Inuyama Festival

From January 14th to 15th, snow fell in Aichi Prefecture.

It's not that unusual for it to snow in Aichi Prefecture, but it doesn't happen often either.

"Shutter chance!!"

So on January 14th, I suddenly went to take pictures of Nagoya Castle in the snow.

Since it was nighttime and outside of the park's opening hours, I tried to aim for it from the west and north sides of the outer moat.

the Canon EOS M3 , which is familiar to this blog .

First, this is one of several photos taken from the west side of the outer moat. ↓

It had stopped snowing...
It was a lie that it was snowing while I was walking from Shiyakusho Station on the Meijo Line to the west side of Sotobori (bitter smile).
The moon is visible.

There is a moon and snow is falling on the castle.
If only there was some falling snow...
I decided to hold out a little longer.

Then, the snow started to flicker again...
Here is the finished product (with some tweaking in Photoshop). ↓

By the way, the lens I used for shooting was EF-M22mm F2 STM .
I actually wanted to zoom a little more, but
not bringing my TAMRON Model B011

Then I moved to the north side of the outer moat and took pictures.

Flash is essential when photographing snow.
There may be times when you can't use the flash (like animals or trains), but this time I didn't hesitate to use the built-in flash.

The battery died after taking a few dozen photos.
And the cold was at its limit, so we withdrew.

The shooting equipment is as follows.
