I went to Atsuta Shrine for New Year's visit 2016
Happy new year
It's 2016.
So, I went to Atsuta Shrine
Aiming for Meijo Line Jingu Nishi Station
On the night of December 31st, at a station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meijo Line.
Driving was carried out throughout the night.
Get off at Jingu Nishi Station.
Although it says Kasho, it was still December 31st when the photo was taken.
Take Exit 2 and head towards Atsuta Shrine.
Immediately after exit 2.
There were many stalls lined up.
From the west gate of Atsuta Shrine to the grounds
The closest one to Jingu Nishi Station is the West Gate.
Torii in the center of the precincts.
If you just keep going straight, you will reach the main shrine...
Chozuya
A high-tech piece that doesn't match the landscape.
There's nothing fancy or boring about it (lol)
I'm aiming for the main shrine,
A long line.
That's right.
There was a countdown, loud cheers, and everyone welcomed the new year.
Some raised their fists high in the air.
Hurry up and move forward.
"Two bows, two claps, one bow"
Well, here's a review.
As a way of worshiping,
Yes, there is "two bows, two claps, one bow."

It was explained in detail on the giant display earlier...
The situation in front of the shrine is what you see.
There's no way I can do it properly (sweat)
Still, I somehow managed to bow twice, clap twice, and once, so as not to offend God.
A huge offering box (or is it?).
It's a great scale.
Omikuji
And speaking of New Year's visit, there is no reason not to draw an omikuji.
When I pulled it out,
What do you think about Hankichi?
I think he's better, just not evil.
I didn't feel very good about it, so I tied it off.
With that, we left Atsuta Shrine and headed to Nagoya TV Tower to watch the first sunrise of the year .
Afterword
It was my first time visiting Atsuta Shrine, but in conclusion, I'm glad I went.
I'm satisfied with everything except the result of the fortune (lol)
However, since it was night, I was unable to fully enjoy the beautiful (I think) scenery.
So, if I ever visit again, I would like to go during a time when the sky is bright.
This is the story of my first visit to Atsuta Shrine.
