iOS app “Clips” Clipboard management app. Copy and paste progress!!
I downloaded the iOS app "Clips" and tried using it, and copying and pasting was a breeze!!
So let me introduce you.
How to use the iOS app “Clips”
The iOS app "Clips" is a clipboard management app that allows you to instantly copy and save text, URLs, and images, and also makes pasting super easy.
Let's use it right away.
Add the app to the notification center in advance. ↓
For now, let's copy the text using Safari. ↓
The text you copied into the widget and the URL of the page where the text is located are then temporarily saved. ↓
If you copy another text or image, it will disappear , so if you want to continue using it in the future, it is a good idea to stock it by tapping the "+" button.
In the free version, you can stock up to 5 items in the app, but only the latest 3 items from both the free and paid versions will be displayed in the widget.
You can instantly copy the stocked text by tapping it.
In addition, by tapping the arrow button on the right, you can use copy functions in various formats, such as copying only the URL or copying a set of text and URL. ↓
The above operations can also be used when copying images.
Furthermore, while viewing a page in Safari, if you launch "Clips" from the App Extension button in the middle of the bottom, you can copy the page title and URL, or both at the same time, and add them to the "Clips" widget. It has become. ↓
You can also generate link tags by adding a template.
My favorite part is that you can
generate link tags Previously, link tags were generated using bookmarklets, but ``Clips'' because it allows you to stock multiple generated link tags .
So, to add a template, first start the app and tap "Settings" in the top left. ↓
Tap "Copy Template". ↓
Tap "Add new template". ↓
Write the title and template. ↓
The title is arbitrary, and the template describes the following.
When using anchor text as page title
<a href="%source%" target="_blank">%title%</a>
If you want the anchor text to be any text on the page
<a href="%source%" target="_blank">%body%</a>
Once entered, tap "Save" at the top right.
In my case, I use the added templates often, so I sort them to the top. ↓
Let's use the added template.
If you want to use anchor text as the page title, launch "Clips" from the App Extension button on any page.
If you want the anchor text to be any text on the page, start "Clips" from the App Extension button after selecting the text.
(Although it is possible to generate this template using a widget, it is more convenient to start "Clips" from the App Extension button.)
After starting up, tap the added template...↓
A link tag will be generated. ↓
Amazing.
Input functionality using third-party keyboards
"Clips" can also be used as a third-party keyboard.
You can use the widget functions as is except for copying and pasting images.
You can instantly input copied and stocked text in various formats without leaving the notification center.
To add a third-party keyboard, first launch "Settings" and tap "General". ↓
Tap "Keyboard". ↓
Tap "Keyboard". ↓
Tap "Add new keyboard..." ↓
Tap "Clips" to add. ↓
Added. ↓
If you tap the stocked text, it will be entered as is. ↓
Afterword
At first, I used the free version, but it was so convenient that I ended up purchasing the paid version.
The paid version is even more convenient as you can select the number of records you can save and can synchronize between different devices.
This app is indispensable when writing any type of text, including moblogging on an iOS device.
